(BY TELEGBAPH) (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Masterton, This Day. An indignation meeting of'the Masterton Volunteers was held last evening to : protest against the conduct of Maj or ! Bunny on the occasion, of the visit of the Governor to Masterton. There were about forty volunteers present. ""Captain Donald presided, and after' several condemnatory speeches had been made, the following resolution was' carried unanimously, "That the Masterton Volunteers, after the treat! ment they received from Major Bunny 1 on Thursday last 'tender' their resigna-j tion m a body.", A petition was drawn up to the Minister of Defence . stating the reasons, and was signed by all present.
