The New Zealand Loan and Mercana tile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following telegram from their London agent, dated 4th September :— Wool— The competition is still increasing and the market is firmer, but there is much irregularity m bidding. Home buyers are purchasing freely^ but the continental demand is limited; Seedy and burry wools are neglected ; New Zealand long staple merino, is m demand, but short growth is neglected Up to date; 118000 bales have- been sold and delivered. Adelaide is worth 47s 6 1, and New Zea-land-'44s per 4961 bs ; New Zealand fair average quali'.y is worth, 0.1. F. off coast, 428 per 4801bs.
