The eight manufactories of Isorlohm alone consumed m 1882 no less than 600 tons of wire, nnd produced 2,500,000.000 of needles and pins, employing 800 male and 700 female and juvenile workpeople, besides seven steamengines and four water-wheels of 330»horse power.
