SATURDAY'S MEETING. Present :— Wardens Engels, (Chairman, McEwen, and Edwards. CORRESPONDENCE, Letter read from Treasury notifying that a grant of £-50 for works m Fitzherbert had been remitted to Board's credit. Permission wus given to J. Rogers to erect line of fence on his property at Kairanga m terms of Fencing Act, he promising to remove the fcnoe any time he was asked to do so. Mr McEwen's t°nder for bush-felling on. No 1 Line, Kairanga, at £8 per acre, was accepted The Engineer was authorized to arrange with L. R. Bryant for work on No. 2 section. Bishop Hadfield and Sir J. Prender#ast to be requested to f<*ll bush on their sections. Resolved — That the Engineer be j authorized to repair the approach to the Tireatea Stream on the east side. Resolved — That Mr Edwards be authorized to expend the sum of £1 m the repair of a bridge on James' Line, Stoney Greek. The Board then adjourned. _____B_____M__
