She left Wellington for Wanganui, but not being able to enter that river went on to Opnnake, but was not able to land cargo. She then made for the Waifcbtara, but could not enter that river, owing to the dangerous state of the bar. so she bore , away for Kawhia, . m order to obtain shelter. In attempting to enter the harbour she bumped on the bar, and as it was afterwards found she had made a hole m her bottom, she has to retnaiu . there till relief is afforded her. Th« Hannah Mokau has been dispatclud with a sand pump and appliances and five tons of coal, to have the repairs "L executed, '
