A meeting of ladies was held to-day m connection with the women's branch of the Gospel Temperance Mission, and was largrty attended, and addreeses were delivered by ladieß. - Wellington, This Day. Before the Chief Justice the case of JMokena Kohere, M.L.C., v. BiemenBchneider (Native Interpreter), was brought ODj being anaction to recover upwards of £700 f amount of honorarium •which defendant is alleged not to have accounted for. I.lt' was agreed to defer the case until npxt sittings.
