The patiant operated upon by the doctor is named Harnlin, well-known m Christchuroh as the I blind man. He has been quite blind m m both eyes tor many years, and Dr [ Wilkins has done his best to give him sight again by grafting ou to one of hid eyes the healthy front of a wili rabbit's eye, with the result that the man can so far easily distinguish objects held before hiui, with perfect union of the rabtit/s eye to the human eye, which, we inn»ine, must be a new physiological fact, and we hope to hear, further of the success of the case,"
