Shipping Frozen Meat.
£by tblbgraph.l (united press association.) :. * * Invercahgill, May 16. : The directors ot the Frozen Meat Company visited the ship Opawa at the Bluff yesterday, and dined on m? ab which had been frozen over a month.' Everything was m excellent condition, and satisfaction generally was expressed I w»th the New Zealand Shipping Company's management, and the facilities given for export. The Ooawa is now nearly filled up, but as preliminary freezing is done on board, the process is slow as the chamber gets stowed tip. The ship would have gone away last Saturday, bnt the s.p. Kawitiri, with coal for use of the refrigerator, is bar-bound at Westpott. It is arranged that the Itawatiri will tow the. Opawa to sea^ so that there will be no^aVlay.
