Mr Bryce's Trip.
THE DEMONSTRATION. (by telegraph.) (united pbess association.) New Plymouth, April 21, The Hon. J. Bryce, who arrived at White Cliffs this morning, was driven to Waitara, arriving there about 8 o'clock, where an address was presented to him. A special train left for town at 9.30. Very little intimation was given, but by means of a be!lma,n and the town band playing " Johnny Comes Marching Home," the people turned out, and were m time to receive the Native Minister and party at the Railway Station. Mr Bryce was loudly cheered, The horses of his carriage were unharnessed and taken out, and taken out, and when the party were m the carriage they dragged it to the Criterion Hotel. Mr Bryce leaves m the morning for Farihaka. It was decided to present the address to him to* ni^ht at 10 ©'clck.
