THE ATTACK ON LADY DIXIE.
1 FURTHER PARTICULARS.
(by klbctrio tklegbaph — copyright.), 'reuter's telegrams.) ' London, March 19. Fulll particulars are now to hand regarding the attack on Lady Dixie. She was walking m the grounds of her residence on, the Thames, when the assailants made a desperate attack on her with daggers. The weapons twice penetrated her clothing and corset, which alone averted the fatal wounds. Her hands are^cut, but otherwise she was not i injured . As she was struggling with the assassins she was overcome with 'terror,; and fainted away and fell to the ground. Two favourite dogs who were with her ihen stood over her bady, and kept the assassins at bay, and finally drove them off. Lady Dixio has lately published letters denouncing the Leagtie, and describing the recent visit which she made to Ireland.
