A Masonic Story.
Under the heading of "Another Morgan Story " we have received from • s Boston, U.S., newspaper the following extract :— Tobias Forbes, of Clyde m \Vyne country, who is nearly 80 years of ag°, and whose father was a cousin of Vv*illiam ; , Morgan, of Masonic notoriety, says that^ Morgan was not murdered by his captors for alleged revealing Masonic secrets, but was released on condition that he would leave the country. He did so, going to Melbourne, Australia, and. there commenced the publication cf a newspaper which, after his^ death passed into .tiSfc hands of his son, who may now be living m that locality.'! The editor of the Boston Globe, m which this paragraph appeared writes, stating that $c. subject ..'..is causing considerable interest m the States, 1 and asks if we (Age) can give any particulars of Morgan's settlement m Austr*lir. Perhaps tfoine ot our readers will^ne able to supply the desired information.
