A young man named Naera had his wife taken from him by a chief who gave her to another Native. Naera, m revenge, took a double-barrelled gun and *hot tit both. The chief died within two hours. The other Native seems to have escaped. Naerc made for the bush, carrying the gun with him. It is believed he intends making for the King country,
