The Argus warns Irishmen not to support or assist plausible agitators by contributing funds, and protests strongly against the transference' of Old World feuds to the colonies. < Government House narrowly escaped total destruction by fire last night through plumbers having left a fire pot upon the roof; which caught fire. The damage is estimated at £1000. The death is announced of the Rev. M, O'Connor, D.D., Roman Catholio Bishop of Ballarat.
