The Oroua stock Sale.
As anticipated, this sale was a great success, and passed off to the entire satislaction ot the vendors. There were between three and four hundred persons present, nearly all buyers, and though prices for cattle were not high, those for sheep and horses brought up the total amount to very large figures. There were buyers from Manawatu, Rangitikei, Bonny Glen, Turakina, Wanganui, Waitotara, , and,; right through as far as Hawera, and all cons curred m the opinion that the sale wad a. pronounced success. We hope to .be able to give a fuller detailed report m Monday's issue. With such, a success-' j fu! inaugural sale, and such a crowd of outside buyers, the annual Oroua Stock Sale may now be looked forward to as m established institution on the West Doast. ' t
