ANNUAL RAM FAIR.
Messrs Stevens and Gorton an» nounce elsewhere that their annual ram fair will take place at their sale yard.B, Bulls, on Tuesday, February 20, when pure-bred Lincoln rams will be offered from the celebrated flocks of Messrs J. G. Wilsou, F. Larkworthy, W. B. Betemeyer, E. Read ; also purebred Romney Marsh ; rams and ewes from the fleck ol Major Willis,? pare* bred Merino rams, from the flock of J. R. Gorton Esq./ View Hill, Canterbury, the grandsire of these latter animals having brought as high as 680 guineas. Details of other stock and fuller particulars will shortly appear, and catalogues will also be issued. An .important ram fair like this should induce the attendance of purchasers from 'all parts of the coast, and a most successful sale may be looked forward to.
