Waste Lands Board.

The asual fortnightly meeting of the Waste Lands Board was held on Thursday. Present, Messrs J. G. Holdsworth (ohairman and commissioner), T. Mason, W. W". Taylor, and H. Bunny, The Chairman reported that only one section, : situated: m the {Mangaone, had been disposed of since last meeting, the area being 147a lr Bp, and the upeet price, £221 2a 6d, the whole of which was paid m cash. The Chairman reported that Mr H. A. Wilson, holder of becrion 10, Block 11, Mangaon*, had failed to pay his instalments and to carry out improvements.. It was resolved that Mr Wilson ba again written to and warned tbat unless he comply with the terms of his lease the same will be cancelled. The action of the chairman m declining to transfer a deferred-payment section to an absentee was approved.
