Christohurch. Grass seed. — Hyejf rass — Large crop gathered m cood condition and quality. Some parcels have bean placed at 3s to 3s 3d, according to dressing. CocksfootSamples received show quality to be first class this season. Heavy purchases bave been effected at prices withheld. For February delivery B^d f.o.b. Akaroa is asked. Blenheim. Ryegrass. — Prices are expected to range from 4s to 4s 9d, according to quality. Gisborne. | Samples of new crop just to hand are clean, well developed seed. Farmers are asking ss. i Dunedin. i Witii a fair supply of old stock on hand, and a heavy yield from crops now being saved, the market will prob« nbly open m lavor of buyers. Oamaru. Farmers are busy thrashing out rye and Italian, and on the whole are well satisfied with the yield and quality. There are buyers at from 8s 3d to 3s 6d, but growers are all looking for higher values. Napier. Provincial-grown cocksfoot is being sold at 3^lb per lb delivered on the run. For A.karoa 5d per lb delivered at whaif, has been paid. No business has yet been done iv. new season's ryegrass seed.
