IHq succeed^ m drawing the whole, and baring spent it Tictimised a number of- tradespeople at Teilding by representing that Mr fcstock ~ had upwards of £100 ih ! band for him , the ' reßnlt ; being that he was sentenced to two yeats hard labor for false pretences. Since his' release he has played a similar game at Nelson, and, having arrived ; m Wellington, he' again adopted the trick which he played at Feilding m order to gain credit at an hotel, without, however, being successful. Tradespeople will do well to avoid such a customer.
