MR LINTON'S LAND SALE.
The land sale held by Mr Linton on Saurday the 20th instant was well atttended, although bidding was not spirited, several lots changed hands at very favorable prices. Lot 1 containing 41 acres grass land was knocKed down at L9 per acre. Lots 2 to 6 withdrawn at L8 5s and L8 15a. per acre. Several of the bush sections were withdrawn ab L4 15s. per acre. Lot 22 containing 90 acres bush land was sold to Mr Me Leod at L5 7s 6i per acre. . Lot 23 containing 107 acres was knocked down to Mr Pascal at L5 7 6d per acre. : Rural section No 544 containiog 101 acres slightly improved was sold to Mr Were, at L6 2s 6d Der acre. The late Mr Lovejoy's property at Bunnythorpe 42 acres partly improved was sold at L3 13s per »c«*e, Mr, Love* joy's widow being the purchaser. lotal sales about L9.200.
