FROZEN MEAT.
The Inverness Courier of September 23, has an appreciative article on the state of I st ew Zea'and, and compliments tbe Colony upon having entered upon a careT of steady progress, with an entire absence of that tendency to over" speculation which was common before tbe financial Crisis of a few ye»rs a^o. Referring to the frozen meat trade our contemporary observes :— " They are resolved to persevere, and we can m all sincerity wish them success. Experience has proved that the supply of frozen meat can do no material injury to the meat trade of this country. New Zea^ land beef and rau t-n will have its own market, but th,e home grown article will always command top prices/
