Potatoes (new)— £4 per ton. Oats — Oats are easier, and a cargo of good feed sold on the wharf at 3s 3d per bushel. Wheat and Maize are at last quotations. Butter— 9d. Cheese — Bd. Bacon and Hams — 9£d. Eggs— is to Is 2d. Fruit— There is no Sydney fraifc m hancL Nelson cherries, 3s per box ; plums, 8s per box ; pears, 9s per case ; apples^ 7s per case. Poultry— Poultry are at last quotations. There has been very little business doing for the past week except m small lines for immediate requirements.
