(BY TELEGRAPH.) (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Invercargill, Jan. 4. At the police court to-day a rabbiter named James Mulholland was brought up and remanded on a charge of having, on New Year's Day, discharged a loaded gun at his wife with intent to do her grievous bodily harm. Accused fired through the door, on the other side of which his mfc was pushing m order to keep him out. The bail struck her stays and grazed her spine.
