Dunedin. Grain—Wheat: The demand! is very limited. We quote choicest milling at from 49 3d to 4s 4d . ordinary 4s ; inferior and fowls’ wheat, 2s to 38 2d. Oata : The market has given way, and prices may be quoted from 2s 4d to 2s lOd per bushel, the latter.price being obtained only for extra milling samples,/. Barley : Feed and milling from 2s to 3s per bushel. Wellington, George Thomas reports produce prices as follows Oats, in anticipation of a plentiful harvest, do not command much attention, and prices are ruling a shade lower, 3s 3d to 3s 6d being fair quotations. Flour, unaltered; southern brands, £ll ss, but as the local production still remains at £ll, not much business may be noted. Fowl wheat, 3s 9d to 4s ; barley, 3s 9d ; bran £4 ]os; pollard, £5; hams, B£d to 9d ; oatmeal, £ls 10s ; oaten chaff, £4 to £4 10s ; maize, 4s 6d ; cheese, Bd. The fruit market is in an inactive state, which is unqsual after the holidays, and prices show a loss to shippers ; Kentish cherries have been cleared at 2s to 3s per halfcase ; pears, 7s ; plums, 12s; apricots, 15s. 1 Eggs, 18 2d per dozen.
