ELECTIONS.

The following are the results of the results of the several elections for School Committees in this district : Tua Marina. The following gentlemen have been elected as the School Committee for the present year : John O’Leary, Charles O’Sullivan, James Nolan, Daniel Duggan, William Hunter, John Borraughs and John Morrin. Waitohi Valley. Nine candidates were nominated for the Wai* tohi School Committee. Their names and the number of votes received were as follows :—Horn, 27, Major Baillie 25, N. Bragg 22, G. North 21, 11. Simmonds 21, J. Hart 11, C. White 11, W. Aubrey 10, A Woolley 5. Major Baillie and Messrs Horne, N. Bragge, North, Simmonds, White, and J. Hart were declared elected. Queen -Charlotte Sound. The following gentlemen were elected as the School Committee : —David Fulton, James Beauchop, Hugh Patterson, Charles Brown, Hobert Thompson, James Hammond, Craddock Beauchamp. Onamalutu. The following gentlemen were elected as a School Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs William Booker, jun., Janies Bently, Charles Smart, Edward Monk, Jacob Walton, Thomas Wady, aud John Barton. . Kaitona The following gentlemen have been electej as the School - Committee for the year : -Messrs J , A. Lambert, John Maher. John W. Gibson, James S. Gibson, A. D. Gibson, John Leslie, Beatson Lawson.
