TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “ The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858,” I, Stephen Lunn Muu.hr, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Picton, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ, bearing date the 23rd day of May, 1868, -issued under the hand of Ilis Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, in the Town of Picton, on THURSDAY, the the Eleventh day of June, 1868, at 12 o’clock at noon ; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the Eighteenth day of June, 1868.
