The continued success of G aribaldi, and his daring and determined prosecution of his schemes, appear likely to cause important complications. France and Sardinia have withdrawn their ambassadors from Naples. The three great Northern Powers, on the other hand, were about entering into closer alliance. The English portion of the news’ is of a gratifying character. The harvest was turning out better than anticipated, and this had favourably affected all commercial operations. Prince Mcttcrnich has been urging the Austrian Government to enter energetically upon liberal reforms. Unless it docs so, there must be greater agitation in Hungary.
