Wheat. —Sales are being made at 6s 9d to 7s par bushel on trucks, country ridings. Oats. Market rather easier. Milling 3s lid to 4s Od, bright short feed 38 9d to 3s lOd, medium and inferior 3s 4d to 3s Bd.
Barley. —Good demand for feed sorts from 5s Od to ss-,6d. Auction sales are held fortnightly. Winters are worth lid to 14d, selected does to 16d, late winters 9 l-2d to 10 l-2d, outgoings ,8d to lOd, springs 6d to Bd, summers 5d to 9d.
Hides. —Market easier. Cows Bfd to 9Jd, ox 9|d to 101-2 d. Sheepskins.—There is very keen demand, prices being firmer. Best crossbreds are worth lOf d to lljd, halfbreds, 10|d to.lljd, fallen skins from 6jd to lOd, pelts 5d to 8d per lb. Tallow. Market firm. Hough fat 13s to 16s; tallow in tins 20s to 225; casks, 24s to 27spercwt. Horsehair.—lßd to 20d per lb.
