PIMPLES DEVELOPED INTO FESTERING SORES,
Child's Arm Covered with Itching Inflammation. A Mother's Gratitude to Zam-Buk. Mrs J. Minton, residing at corner of Botany Rd. and King-st., North Botany, Sydney, says:—" Nasty sores broke out bnthe right arm of my little girl, Minnie. These sores first started as pimples, which broke and spread, and developed to large festered sores.' The arm was swollen up enormously, and in a terrible state. The irritation from itching and inflammation was dreadful. For three months we experimented with ordinary remedies, which didno good, then we commenced using Zam-Buk, The first few applications of the balm had a very soothing effect. The swelling and inflammation gradually disappeared and all bad matter was drawn out of the sores. By persevering with Zam-Buk all disease was banished and a new healthy skin appeared over the once diseased area. Her father thought it would be a case for hospital treatment, but thanks to the wonderful healing powers of Zam-Buk, this was obviated.
" My little boy, Robert, had a lump formed on the side of his neck. We took him to a doctor who Said it was an abscess and told us to poultice it. We did su, but found it was no use. My mother recommendus to use ZamBuk as she had proved it of value for abscesses. We did so, and inside of a few days all bad matter was drawn from the abscess, and .soon he was completely cured."
A pot of Zam-Buk should always be kept handy in every home, work shop, and on every farm, sheep run, and cattle station. A timely application of this splendid balm will prevent much pain and suffering, and make" festering and blood-poison impossible. Sold by all stores, and chemißts.
Alexandra is shortly to possess a Carnegie library, for at last'meeting of the borough council a communication was received from Mr Carnegie's private .secretary that the sum of £BOO was now available for the erection of a library at Alexandra. It will be remembered that during a recent visit to Scotland Mr W. Fraser, of this town, sought an interview with Mr Carnegie and requested a grant of £BOO towards building a library. The request met with the sympathy of Mr Carnegie, and plans and specifications of the proposed building were duly forwarded to Mr Carnegie for approval. These have now been returned with the intimation that the amount of the grant asked for has been set aside for the purpose. The council decided to immediately proceed with the preliminary arrangements for the srection of the building,—Hsrald..
