The monthly meeing was held on Tuesday evening. Those present were—Messrs F. Inder (chair), Dawson,- Guffie, McNeil, Jones, R. Inder, Davis, Hilton and Ryan < Minutes." The Clerk to the Maniototo County Council wrote that Cr H W Davis, Messrs H W Hilton, Guffie, J Ryan, F W Inder and R F Inder hid been appointed to represent the council on the trust ■ The Secretary of the Maniototo Hospital Board wrote that in view of the Hospitals Bill now before Parliament, and the probability of their income from subsidies being reduced, the board reommended the trustees to carry on the business of the hospital as economically as possible On the motion of Messrs Dawijon and McNeil the usual motion receiving. and approving the correspondence was passed -- Doctor's Report The doctor reported that at date of last return there were three males and one female in the hospital Six males and three females had since been admitted,, making tlfe total treated 13 Four males and one female had been discharged, leaving five males and three females under treatment .Four out-patients paid 13 visits One patient had been in the hospital over two nnonths The report was received on the motion of Messrs Ryan and Hilton Visiting Committee Mr Davis retired from the Visiting and Mr Jones was appointed to lihe. vacancy Stores Resolved—That during the month Mr Brown supply the groceries, Mr Jones the bread, and Mr Inder the meat ,■■■ Finance On the motion of Messrs Guffie and Jones accounts amounting to £lO9 12s 4d were passed for payment Drainage The Chairman stated that he had arranged with'l/Tr Browne to tske the levels for, the drainage into the gully Mr Browne had not been able to get time before that day He estimated that 160 ft of piping -would be required He (the chairman) intended to try and get the Visiting Committee to inspect the site next cay A special meeting of the Trustees takes place on Saturday evening to deal with a recommendation from the Board re admission of a patient.
