Fat Cattle.—Only 86 head were yarded. Notwithstanding the small yarding, prices showed little or no improvement. Best bullocks, £lO 10s to £ll ]os; medium to good, £8 to £9 10s ; others, £6 10s to £7 15s ; good to best cows and heifers, £6 15s to £7 7s 6d ; medium, £5 5s to £6 10s; others, £4 to £5 2s 6d. Sheep.—lß93 penned. The sale throughout was a dragging one, and prices ruled, as compared with the previous week, at about Is per head lower for wethers, and Is to Is 6d per head for ewes.
