GARDENER'S UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

The unpleasant experiences of Mr Evan Evans were the foremost topic of conversation at Te Horo says the Otaki Mall, where a reporter on that journal enquired into the matter. Mr Evans, who is a gardener and milker on a gentleman's estate at Te Horo,told the following, remarkable story : ct Gardener's, you know, have to work at seasons, "he said, "and! have thus -,be; j n frequently exposed to the inclemency of the weather. As a result I have, for the past thirty years been troubled with rheumatism, but in July I .was taken ill with sciatica. Sharp burning pains came in the left hip, leg and foot. The agony was worse at night, and I felt as if I was being flayed alive. I lay awake moaning and crying, quite unable to sleep. I was so crippled that I could not work. Liuiments, ointments, and" plasters gave only temporary relief. After suffering agonies for three weeks I read a pamphlet concerning the cures performed by Dr Williams' pink pills. I immediately sent for six boxes. After using four boxes the pain eased a little and I felt stronger.
