A GIANT NEWSPAPER.
The Newspaper Museum iu Aix-la-Chapelle contains a copy of the world's largest newspaper, viz., the " Illuminated Quadruple Constellation," published in New York, in the year 1859. The paper is similar iu form to the surface of a billiard table, and measures B£ft. in height by 6ft. iu width. It contains eigtit pßges, each of thirteen columns, and these are each 48iu. long. The paper on which it is printed is extremely durable and strong, and each ream weighed 3cwt. forty people were occupied couliuually for eight weeks iu order to bring out the first issue of tbis remarkable newspaper, which it is proposed to publish once in 100 years. Another large newspaper was the number recently issued by the " New York World ' on the anniversary of its tenth birthday. It consisted of 100 pages of tba usual newspaper size, inclosed in a coloured wrapper with a design that had been specially executed for the occasiou.
