At the Police Court, yesterday, P. J, Bellet, licensee of a hotel at St. Ivilda, was fined £1 and Costs, on a charge of selling liquor during prohibited hours, vhs., at 4 a.m. on December 2Sth. Bellet was also fiued on a chaice of committing a breach of the peace on the same, date, by assaulting a man named Meadcj who was one of the witnessss in the last case, he being the man to whom liquor was sold.
