RULES AND REGULATIONS. :■ - No qualification fee is required. Acceptances to be lodged with the Secretary not later than 8 p.m. on Monday, 4th Nov., 1889. Nominations for the Novel Handioapand entries for the Maiden Plate and Two-mile Trot to be in not later than 8 p.m. on Sth Nov. (night of general entry.) * Handicaps for Two-mile Trot, Spring and Novel Handicaps will be announced on. the ground. No horse entered for any.handicap (excepting the Novel) will be allowed to run in any Hack Race at this meeting, and no horse running in any Hack Race will be allowed to run in any Handicap Race. The first race will start at 11 a.m. sharp. Mares and geldings allowed 31b. % No entries will be received for any of the above races except on the conndition that all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the .stewards, or whom they may appoint. Their decision in all cases to be final. Names ages, and pedigrees (if any (A. horses entered, with names of owners and colors of the riders, to be forwarded to the Secretary with each tend every nomination. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of stakes for expenses. Horses walking over to receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. Any person entering a protest must deposit £2, and should the stewards deem such protest frivolous the deposit will be forfeited. No entries or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever after the day and hour specified, noi when unaccompanied by cash for nominations or entry money. Jockeys to ride in colors.
