County Council Offices,' Naseby, up till 8 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, May 2nd, for the under-mentioned works, viz CONTRACTS No 2 and 3 (combined) — Formation, culverts and ditching, from Peg 2 miles to Peg 4 miles. CONTRACTS No 5 and 6 (combined) — Formation, fillings and cuttings, cul verts j creek crossings, and ditching, from Peg 4 miles 76 chains to Peg 8 miles 33 chains. The Engineer will meet intending contractors at 10 a.m. on SATURDAY, April 28th, at the Capburn Crossing, and point out the locality and nature of the work. Each tender, numbered aud endorsed as above and addressed to the Chairman, must be accompanied by a marked cheque or cash deposit of temper cent, which amount will be forfeited by the successful tenderer if he fails or neglects to take- up the contract within seven days from the receipt of notification that his tender has been accepted.
