A telegram from Westporfc state? that the " Captain 'Williams," steamer, Westport, which had just finished loading coal for Wellington, had settied down on what is supposed to be a snag, and sunk. It is not known to what extent she is injured, or whether she will float at high tide. Arrangements are being made here to send a diver to report by to-morrow's steamer.
