SUPPLEMENTARY TELEGRAMS.; (From the Press Association.,) j Dunedin, [Friday ■ No cablegram news at all to day. The latest' "from the 'scene of! the wreck of the Tararua is that six bodies were recovered to-day. Two bodies were recognised as those of John Barry and Roderick Walsh. One body is believed, to; be that of the Chief Engineer, Muiiro. Wellington; The ' Gazette ' contains a proclamation withdrawing a large number of sections of land in Waihemo, Highlay, Kock and Pillar, Budle, Ohatton, Waikaka, Outara, Grlenkenich, and Kurow districts, in Otago, from the operation of the deferred payment system. These were all allotments sold on deferred payments, and partially improved, but the tenants of which were - unable te keep up payments. Another notice advertises the same sections for cash sale on certain dates next month, and fixes the valuation to be paid for improvements in each case.
A fire occurred at the Wanganui Post Office last night which destroyed the store room and roof. The mails and telegraph were uninjured. Ashburton. A fire this morning destroyed
"Watt's Temperance Hotel and bakery, and Brown's coach factory. They were insured. The origin is unknown. Auckland. Thomas Simms has been committed on the charge of attempted murder of Annie Carline, at Kiverhead. A conference has been held between the Board of Education, and a deputation from a late meeting of School Committees of the Province respecting alterations with the regulations to prevent discord between the Board and the Committees for the future. Garrard, the labor agitator, has again broken out, and commences a fresh crusade on the Chinese and the : labor questions.
