NASEBY DISTRICT SCHOOL.

A meeting of the Committee of the Naseby District School was held on January 6Lb 187S Present—Rev. Mr. Hobbs (in the Chair), and Rev. Mr. Smith, Messrs. Glenn, Wilson, and Henry Anderson, lion. Secretary. The minutes of last ordinary meeting were read and confirmed. The schoolmaster's report for December' was not to hand. Complying with a written request from the Committee, the schoolmaster, in a letter dated December 14th, which was received and read expressed his willingness to attend the examination of the school and to assist in the distribution of the prizes. The Committee while recognising the schoolmaster's services at the examination, were exceedingly surprised and disappointed at his absence at the distribution of the prizes.
