Busch, Esq., acknowledging receipt of complimentary address from the Conucil, on his retiring, from office, after five years' service. . Letter read from the Naeeby Cricket Club, addressed to the Mayor/stating that the Club is willing to undertake the levelling, plc-ugh-ing.iand laying down in gras-> the Public Recreation- Keserve y and/guaranteeing the same to be satisfactorily, carried but, if the Corporation and County Council will supplement the funds required* by* the' Club for the purpose, by a grant say of five pounds each. The same estimated'lo Cost upwards of £ls. After discussion it whs resolved on the motipn of Cr. Inubr, Beconrled br Cr. Hjorhing, "That (he jequest made by the Naseby Crioket Club be conceded, provided the County Coun.il will supplement the funds by a grant of Jt'o—the work required to be done subject to the approval of the General Purposes Committees.
