SEPTEMBER GRADING RETURNS. The return showing the quantities of hemp graded in New Zealand during the month of September has keen issued by the Department of Agriculture as follows:- — Ports G.F. H.F. L.F; C. Auckland 2 15 186 10 Bluff - Fifty-one bales at the Bluff were rejected and five condemned. The number of bales graded at each port was as follows: Auckland 213, Bluff 56. The number of bales in each grade, with the figures for the corresponding month last year in parentheses, was as follows: — Good Fair 2(50), High Fair 15 (63), Low Fair 186(144), Common 10(275), Rejected 51(169). Condemned s (nil), a total of 269(701), a decrease of 432 bales. No tow or stripper-slips were graded.
