TRIANGULAR SHIELD CONTEST
The first game for the Bowling Triangular Shield between the Fox. ton, Levin, and Shannon Clubs, was played at Levin on Saturday. Levin had four links and the visiting clubs two rinks. At the end of play Levin had scored 71 points, -Foxton 46, and Shannon 36, the average being Foxton 23 points, Shall-' non 18, and Levin 11%.
The Otaki Railway Bowling Club intends holding a. gala day (rinks) on the new green at Otaki Railway, commencing at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday. The local club has been invited to be represented.
