ROWING CREW. Wanganui, January 11. The British Empire Games rowing eight, which is at present training on 'the Wanganui river, has shown considerable improvement during the past two days. The crew is swinging much better, but is still slow in its movements at the finish.

The crew has not yet been finally selected, but an announcement is expected within the next day or so. However, it is expected the crew will b: R. Gould (str.), F. T. Thompson (7), C. A. Styles '(G), A. K. G. Jackson (5), H. Benge (4), J. Charters (3), 0. W. Dennison (2), L. E. Pithie (bow). If this is so, P. Stowers and C. E. Johnston will be reserves.
