WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wired at noon to-day as follows: —
The indications are for moderate northerly winds freshening after about 24 hours, backing by west to south. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather with mild and hazy conditions later expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain probable. Barometer has a falling tendency. Seas smooth to moderate but increasing.
