Miss J. Mason has returned to Foxton aftel- an enjoyable holiday spent in Wellington. Friends of Mrs G. Alexander will regret to learn that she entered the Palmerston North 'Hospital yesterday.
|The Rev. €. (W. Brown, local Methodist minister, accompanied by Mrs Brown, is attending the Methodist Conference at Christchurch. Mr Bi’OAvn is chairman of the Church’s Home Mission Committee.
Mr Ormond Wilson, M.A., M.P. for Rangitikei, has been in Wellington for some days working’ in the office of the Minister of Finance on some aspects of the more immediate poblems facing the Government. It is understood that Mr Wilson Avill be co-opted for assistance both by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Agriculture.
A wedding of Avidespread interest Avhich took place last evening in Wellington, AA 7, as' that of Mr Frank Kilby, the well-knoAvn All Black, to Miss Dulcie McNeil. Both bride and bridegroom came originally from Invercargill, but have been resident in Wellington for the past few years. Over 300 congratulatoxj telegrams from all parts of NeAV Zealand Avere received.
