.An undesirable alien denied admission to stillrsnaikeless New Zealand, a beautifully-mottled five-foot boa constrictor, brought all the way front Panama City aboard the Remuera, is dead. On Thursday, in the presence of officials, he Avas doped and decapitated before the Remuera left Wellington for Auckland. The big snake Avas the property of Mr E. W. Scott, editor of the Spanish-American NeAvspaper, Panama, at present on a holiday in NeAV Zealand.

Mr. Scott said on his arrival that he desired to present the boa to the Wellin'Tton Zoo. He declared the snake to Customs officials, but permission to bring it ashore was not forthcoming.
