ART UNION FUNDS.
MINISTER’S DISTRIBUTION.
Auckland, December 18
In announcing the allocation of £4675 from art union No. 45 for distribution among various, organisations, the Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, said he wished to emphasise that his aim had been to see that the available profits of the art union were given to bodies dispensing relief to the less fortunate section of the community. The money would be distributed among those people who would not benefit either from the special Christmas bonus to the unemployed or from the special grant to the hospital boards. Thirtythree bodies throughout New Zealand will benefit. The money has been allocated as follows:
