FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD. CONVERSION OF LOAN. Public notice is hereby given that in pursuance of subsection 2 of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, a special meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board was held at Palmerston North on the 29th April, 1935, when the following resolution was duly passed and will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the said Board to be held at the Board’s Office, Foxton, on the 27th day of May, 1935, at 10.30 a-m. Resolution: That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33 and by the Foxton Harbour Board Loan Conversion Order, 1935, published in the Gazette of the 7th March, 1935, at page 587 and of all other powers and authorities enabling it so to do, the Foxton Harbour Board hereby resolves to issue new securities in conversion of the existing securities to which the said Conversion Order applies, subject to and in accordance with the said Conversion Order, a precis of which is as follows: Date of Conversion —Ist June, 1935. Loan to be converted —Loan of £16,000 maturing Ist June, 1954. The principal secured by the new securities, together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal half-yearly instalments over the term of the loan. The final halfyearly instalment to fall due and be paid on Ist June, 196 J. Rate of Interest 41 per cent. Dated at Foxton this 30th day of APRIL, 1935. ROORE RANGIHEUEA, Secretary.
