FOXTON CROQUET CLUB.

On Tuesday afternoon ladies of the Foxton Croquet Club journeyed to Levin to participate in an interclub match against Levin for the Sherwood Cup. Despite the rain, play was continued and at the conclusion of the games the Foxton team was victorious, being eight points ahead of their opponents. Tre (inal scores were Foxton 48 points and Levin 40 points. The results were as follow, Foxten players being mentioned first: Mrs R. Owen v. Mrs Pink 26—14. Mi’s M. E. Perreau and Mrs F. Woods v. Mrs Walker and Mrs Hall, 22—26.
