PARLIAMENT ADJOURNS.

UNTIL FEBRUARY 13tli. Parliament adjourned on Saturday until Wednesday, February 13, or earlier if it should he deemed advisable for legislators to icassemble before that date. Befoic the adjournment was taken the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, outlined to the House of Representatives the matters it will have to deal with next year. He also gave an assurance that the Government would be ready with its business and that there would be no delay. The House rose at 12.15 p.m. and the Legislative Council at 1 p.m. after an exchange of seasonal greetings in each Chamber. LIST OF BILLS PASSED.
