Beyond New Zealand :—Commercial papers, 2i 10 oz., and |d each additional 2oz. Books and printed papers, beyond New Zealand, id each 2 os. Pattern and Sample Packets beyond New Zealand, Id each 4osa., Id each additional. Additional 2 ozs. or fraction thereof, id. Magazines, not registered: Beyond New Zealand, Id each 4oz. Magazines, registered, Inland, id each Bozs. Newspapers, inland: Each copy not exceeding 3ozs, id; each copy exceeding 3ozs., Id. for each lfiozs. or fraction thereof. All other places to which Postal Union Kates do not apply: each copy Id for each 16oz. or fraction thereof. Inland Parcels: 6d first lb., not exceeding 21b. Bd., each additional lb. of fraction of a pound np to 10 lbs, 2d, up to 141bs Id each additional lb., maximum weight 14 lbs. Australia 8d first lb. and 6d each other lb. up to 11 lb. United Kingdom 2/- up to 31b.; 3/4 above 31b. up to 71b.; 4/C above 71b up to 111 b. Late Fee, Id, Registration 3d. Insurance on parcels, 4d np to £2. Charge for Private Letter Boxcb, £1 10/- per annum. Money Orders: —New Zealand, £lO or less, 6d commission and 3d each succeeding £5 or fraction thereof. Postal Notes: —Id up to 2/6; 2nd from 3/- to 7/6; 3d from 8/- to 15/-; 4d from 15/6 to £L British Postal Orders: —2d up to 1/6; 2/-, 3d; 2/6, 4d; 3/-, sd; 6/-, 8d; 10/-, 1/3; 15/-, 1/9; £l, 2/3. Ordinary. Telegrams: —On week days, 1/- for the first 12 words, Id for each additional word. Urgent telegrams, double these rates. The rates on Sundays and Public Holidays will be double those on weekdays. “Daily Letter Telegram” will be accepted for the United Kingdom by both Eastern and Pacific routes and for Canada via Pacific only. They are subject to 48 hours delay. Rates. —Minimum of 10/- for 20 words and 6d per word thereafter for the United Kingdom; Canada, 10/2 for 20 words and 6d per word thereafter. Week-end messages, via Pacific, or Eastern, for United Kingdom, 8/4, minimum for 20 words and -5d per word in excess; Canada, minimum of 8/9 for 20 words and 5 d per word in excess.
